Upcoming Flights
Like any good Weyr, Meridian welcomes dragons from throughout the Nexus to host and participate in mating flights. The mountain vista makes a perfect backdrop for a little romance. Meridian's feeding grounds are located in a valley just north of the Weyr, away from the prying eyes of visitors and Weyrfolk, though it's not uncommon to catch a glimpse of the goings-on from the Weyrbowl (despite Rimaea's best efforts to avoid this).
Riders of dragons who are ready to rise may post their dragon's name on the flight board near the landing area in the main Weyrbowl. Though flights aren't always planned, the board usually presents a few options for potential chasers. It's a fairly busy place for resident and visiting dragonriders to check, especially if they have a bored (or... overly enthusiastic) dragon in tow.
Flight Information | |
---|---|
Riser | Mariamanth, Butterscotch Gold |
Rider | Rei |
Species | Pernese |
Origin | Cincanta Weyr, 5 |
Requirements | Mariamanth wants ice cream-coloured chasers - be creative (brown = chocolate, white = vanilla, etc)! She will take any and all chasers, but medium-to-large males (brown-sized and up) will have an easier time of it! |
Notes | Rei is single (possibly divorced) and has lived a very demanding life due to being a search rider. Things are especially rough right now given the demand for more candidates in the other princelets, so she's been run a little ragged. Mariamanth's flight is a much needed (albeit unplanned and interruptive) break. Rei intends to take as much advantage of it as her dragon is. |
Status | Closed! |
