| Personality | Analytical, serious, and intensely focused on his craft. Yanves is a Glasscraft aficionado with a keen eye for both appreciating artistry and picking out the tiniest of flaws. This attention to detail carries over into his relationships with others; his siblings are often irked by his nitpicking, even if it does come from a place of genuine concern. (Because he doesn't show much outward emotion, Yanves' caring nature is often lost on others.) Although his family's track record for having dragonrider potential was pretty obvious at that point, Yanves had half a mind to refuse his own Search. A deep passion for Glasscraft and familial love for his siblings nearly held him back. Those same siblings gave him enough of a verbal pummelling (affectionate) to convince him to accept. He's resolved to pour his stubbornness into refusing to give up his Craft once he's back home, instead! |
