| Personality | Gerey suffers from rather low self-esteem while also being desperate to step out from his siblings' shadows and be his own person. Frail as a young child, his siblings are constantly worried about his health and well-being (which drives Gerey crazy). He often takes on extra servant work to prove himself fit and healthy. Deft-handed, hyper-focused, and detail-oriented, Gerey is an absolute natural at sewing, hand embroidery, and mending clothes. He can't stand being disturbed when he's in the middle of a task and will lose his focus - sometimes for the rest of the day - if interrupted. He is embarrassed about his craft when compared to other boys, especially his brothers; however, Gerey takes pride in his work and hates to produce anything sub-par. While gifted in the fibre arts, he's not so gifted in the social aspects of life. Outside of his family, he's conflict-avoidant and almost never corrects people. He'll verbally lash out at his siblings for trying to baby him, but typically feels bad about it afterward. |
