He's completely secure in his unusual choice of a bond; he chose Kestrel without a second thought at his hatching, traditions be damned. His loyalty shines its brightest when others doubt Kestrel's ability to perform in her role as Weyrleader. Risperoth will fiercely defend his rider's honour, however capable she is of doing that herself (though Kestrel is always appreciative of the backup). |
