Personality	Skiakanath is brilliant and curious. He's insatiably fascinated by genealogical history, whether it's his own lineage or someone else's. His ability lends himself well to historical research: he's a quick reader with a remarkable memory for names and details. If he overhears someone in need of assistance with their family tree project, he's bound to stick his nose in and offer his insight. Yes, he's nosy, but he simply loathes leaving a gap in a lineage where there shouldn't be one! (Incidentally, he's quite peeved by the appearance of his own family tree; it's for this reason that he keeps track of his Opal Court clutchmates as if they were his blood siblings.) He strongly dislikes being perceived as less capable or intelligent because he's young. Skiakanath is always excited to join in on intellectual discussions, and he can hold his own with even the most erudite academics. Being young, he does still have a lot to learn, but he wishes that people would take his input more seriously. Perhaps that's why he and Ganymede get along so well: the two share a mutual respect for one another, and Skiakanath has never found himself treated as less than Ganymede's intellectual equal. The pair of them delight in heated discussions in which both up the stakes by playing devil's advocate.
