Personality | A wanderer by nature, Ganymede dislikes being in one place for too long. Staying put makes him feel uncomfortable, as if his very character is stagnating. Impulsive but not reckless, he will happily take the opportunity to travel, but he researches his prospects well before embarking on any new adventure. His current position as an emissary to the Opal Court has him travelling between Kynn, Vella Crean, and Saga, and the frequent changes of scenery please him to no end. Dragonries are so dynamic that Ganymede is always greeted by something new no matter how far apart his visits are. Outside of his emissary duties, Ganymede is rather fond of the arts. He spends much of his time on Saga at the University of Caelestis observing magic classes, browsing the library, and chatting with scholars and students. He's charismatic and makes friends easily, and he has an excellent memory for names and faces. Magic comes naturally to him. Ganymede likes the challenge of learning new forms and applications of magic, as well as honing his own innate spellcasting ability. His relationship with Skiakanath is an odd one, at least from the outside looking in! The two seem to argue all the time over all sorts of topics in magical academia. If you ask either of them, though, the two are simply having a discussion. Skiakanath and Ganymede respect and acknowledge each other's intellect and ability, but both like to play the devil's advocate; verbal sparring comes as naturally to them as breathing. |
