Personality	Shacukinth plays the strong, silent type well. Like Thiala, she cares about others but is rather poor at showing it. Unlike Thiala, this comes not from a lack of tact but a lack of expression. She is blindingly fast and agile in the water and can locate someone in distress quicker than even Thiala. All the while, Shacukinth fights to suppress any emotion that might come up during a rescue effort. She prefers to disappear into the water as soon as the work is done, and she prays no one follows to thank her. No matter the nature of them, Shacukinth's emotional responses are overwhelming; when she's overwhelmed, Shacukinth finds herself nearly unable to function. Her image as a level-headed, focused, expert rescuer is extremely important to her, and she fears that letting others see her feelings would shatter that image. She'd never subject Thiala to the same critique - if she's honest, Shacukinth is just as angry at some of the situations that lead to near-drownings! - and thankfully, brutally-honest Thiala is always the first to remind Shacukinth of that.
