Personality	Jertask is as headstrong as his Knight, if not more so - and yes, it is a competition, thank you very much. Rather comically, his stubbornness often outweighs his decisiveness; he almost went unpaired at his presentation thanks to his trying to beat his chosen at a staring contest instead of Pairing to her. He hates to lose, even if acquiescing to someone else's will means he'll benefit! In training, though, his determination proved to be an asset. Jertask will perform a drill to perfection, even long after other Knights call it quits for the day. He's often a lot sorer the next day than the others, but his efforts seem to pay off when it comes time to defend the Castle. Despite his initial clash of wills with Romilda, Jertask is fiercely protective of his Knight, and he's willing to risk his safety for her own (though he'd never admit it to her face).
