| Personality | Hardworking and meticulous, Emmer made his living as a farmhand before being Judged as an Aspirant. He dislikes making any major decisions, and is content to be a follower who does what's asked of him (and does it well). As the middle child, he felt a bit overlooked growing up, but he seems satisfied with knowing he's doing a good job even if he fades into the background. He isn't a botanical prodigy like his younger sister, but Emmer knows his way around a crop field, including common crop diseases and how to rotate fields to maximize output. With his faerie draks by his side, he's a common sight among growing crops, seeking any abnormalities or concerns that he might bring to the farmer in charge. Now that his priorities are changing, Emmer is cautiously optimistic about his future as a Knight. He doesn't see himself as anything particularly special, but he's glad to have been Judged worthy to defend a Castle. It's doubtless that Emmer will do this job with the same diligence he gave his farm work - and it's unlikely he'll completely give up helping in the fields, either. |
