| Personality | Shan was born to stand out - if their large port-wine stain birthmarks weren't enough, they also have a twin who was born without such marks, making Shan an instant black sheep at home. They were quick to get as far away from their birthplace as possible, attracting the attention of Dragonhope's Searchriders in their travels; who could miss a pale teenager running around looking like they got into a fight with a winery? They don't dislike attention, per se, but would prefer to be acknowledged for their skills than their looks. Shan picked up Harpercraft in their pre-Search travels and found themselves to be a natural on the flute. They enjoy performing for others and as they play, their audience's attention shifts from Shan's birthmarks to their music. It's an escape from the norm that Shan is grateful for, and they keep their flute on them at all times, even when training with Harth. |
