Abilities	Flowering Reproduction: Niteshan Asandae go through a bloom cycle every few years, during which their gemlike scales will flower. If their flowers are pollinated by those of another flower-bearing dragon, the Asandus can bear seedling offspring.
	Functional Magic: Asandae naturally generate magical energy. With training, they can learn how to spellcast by shaping and directing this energy.
	Psionics: With practice, Asandae can speak mind-to-mind (telepathy), send and receive emotions (empathy), move objects with the mind (telekinesis), and travel instantly to any place they have a clear mental picture of (teleportation).
	Rooted Hibernation: If necessary, this Asandus can plant its tail in the earth like a taproot and enter a dormant state. During hibernation, the Asandus is sustained only on sunlight, water, and the nutrients they absorb from the soil.
	Shifting: Asandae can shift into humanoid forms that retain the colouration of their natural ones. With practice, they can also take forms between fully humanoid and fully Asandus ("spectrum shifting").
	Waterbreathing: This Asandus has gills and can breathe underwater.
Personality	Destillo is a self-proclaimed old soul. He acts like a miniature grandpa, grumbling about his dry skin and how loud some people are when he's just trying to enjoy his morning coffee. Though he comes across as cold and dislikes opening up to people, he has a soft spot for others who share his appreciation for peace and quiet, good coffee, and crossword puzzles. He's been known to play a board game or two with other Nidus residents, even cracking the occasional smile when his opponent makes a particularly clever move.
